In January 2024, O2 and Fero Joke brought a unique New Year greeting to life with a twist. Maja, the popular character known for her witty lines, put on a fortune-telling bonnet and read the future for thousands of people, from anything they showed her.
How did it work? We tapped into the brand-new GPT Vision to recognize images sent by users. Carefully crafted prompts then turned the contents of these images into cheerful, positive fortunes. We sent those to ElevenLabs, which recreated Maja’s voice (with Fero’s consent) to deliver the final audio predictions.
The result? Maja could tell your future from a photo of your lunch, your dog, or even a football player - and always ended by reminding you that a simple donation SMS could make someone else’s New Year brighter, too.
